I feel like this will be an even more brutal game physically compared to the Blues. Plus Pasta is red-hot right now. Hopefully Strome is back -- he certainly isn't a miracle worker, but perhaps his presence would make this game less painful.

If Lehner is healthy, I got to believe he'll get the start.

Looks like Kane got hit in the face/head in practice by Smith. Didn't look too bad, but this season is getting worse by the day!

Can the Blackhawks offense score any goals?

It reminds me of when Hossa got injured by Boynton (if I remember right) in practice. Gotta love when great players get injured by shitty players.

Holy crap look at the goals scored. Bruins have a 18 goal scorer and a 25 goal scorer.

Blackhawks? After Kane it's just a huge dropoff in offensive production.

Early reports are Kane's fine; Strome and Caggiula will travel with the team and be evaluated prior to Thursday's game, but it's unknown if they will actually start until then.

Shaw and Keith are still out.

Check out the Oilers too lol...

1. McDavid 51 pts
2. Draisaitl 50 pts
3. Zack Kassian 19 pts

McJesus and Draisaitl are in beast mode. Only what 2 or 3 other players ever had 50 points or more on December 1st. If Oilers had depth they would be Cup favorites

Yeah the Bruins will kill us currently. They peaked too early and we are in a swoon.

Their fans hate us too for interrupting their dynasty and owning the spotlight.

This could go 7-2 territory if Hawks don't give great effort, even if they do.

They can probably trade for the depth they need and Hawks will be one of sellers.

What do we want back from them?

I've been fairly impressed with Nylanders impact when he makes decisive decisions and jumps in on defense aggressively.

When was the last time he played like that, 2-3 weeks ago? Dach has dissapeared too. At least he has an excuse of being only 18

I agree, I see Nylander doing enough to be the first guy in the zone, but he ends up skating away from the net lately. His first goal was going hard to the net, I believe his next one was as well. It seems he either got hit too hard or is wanting to be the finesse guy of making a pass instead of scoring a goal. You put Kubalik on that line with Saad and Toews and there are going to be shots getting to the net and plenty of rebound chances.

No, I think Nylander is our GM and his little potter coach wanting to prove we got top line talent back for a top 4 defensemen, and we are going to watch this painfully. Its pretty clear if he is an NHL'er, he is bottom 6.

I put Dach in that same mindset of proving he picked right over Byram.

Right now, I see Nylander as being no better than Stalberg. Same with Kubalik. Yeah, sometimes they use their speed effectively and make a decent pass here and there, but they have no hands, no finish, and are weak defensively.

Well, the Kings lost last night, so Chicago still isn't the worst team in the conference (by one point) -- so we got that going for us.
