I want to see endless bench clearing brawls, both teams, refs, and every able fan sprinting up to the staff seats and VIP Owners box. Every night, 82 straight games.

Is that even an option in NBA2k? I mean, if so, I'm missing out.

All those other guys made the All-Star teams those years.

Yeah, but they also played in eras where defense was played and bruises covered a quarter of your body if you came inside the key.

Imagine if they had a legit PG. This offense would run so much better, IMO.

Agreed. They got 3 guys they call point guards...but in reality they still don’t have a PG are the roster other than Arch, and he simply lacks the talent to be anything other than a scrub

I can't judge the PG's without an offense to run. Lauri doesn't even get the offense. Who gets the offense?

Killing the mid range jumper for everyone is real stupid. Some guys have a sweet spot there. Some guys can be trusted to take good shots in rhythym from places other guys aren't as skilled with. Its all about developing skills and knowing yourself and knowing how to react to situations.

Smart people are stupid. As usual. You have to play the game to understand some nuances beyond numbers. As a rookie White should probably step in far more than later in his career.

Our 3 point shot selection is horrendous anyway. So it just shows you that there is no translation between the basketball people and the numbers interpretation people.

Tell Louis Williams or Ish Smith not to take mid-range jumpbers, I dare you.

They realize Wendall Carter Jr is best utilized as a mid-range jump shooter or no?

We have a lot of PG talent. Stop grading PG ability based on assist stats, those are the MOST padded stats in the entire NBA and a gawd awful metric to judge players in a position, native or not.

What we do have, is a bunch of under-developed talent, failed by a miserable set of coaches, bad morale and staff. The only reason Zach and Coby get inflated stats(factoring in rookie scale stats for Coby), is because they are self-motivated players. Wendell gets his numbers because he is also motivated, but not a PG. Dunn is amazing when he is motivated, and a scrub in all other conditions, very fragile, but that is the issue. We don't have someone to mend those things.

The bottom line is, the Bulls can draft or sign another PG and it will be the same result. They could get prime John Stockton, and he would be chucking 3's and parking his ass at the top of the key for 20mpg for O and D, landing 4.5 assists per game and the Bulls still drafting 7th. We have to wait and see if Michael has a serious solution. If not only his changes go deep enough, but are ALSO an improvement. That's where we are at, and it's a shame, because we have some good players. Maybe not everyone is some ALL-NBA team talent, but who knows who could have been with slightly better coaches.

interesting take, I don’t see Dunn as a starting level PG on any NBA team under any coaching.

First, I'm not making a leap saying Dunn is who I want here as a starting PG. That is very much off the point I made. But if we just want to talk facts.
He *was* the starting PG, and was getting a ton of praise until he busted some teeth and ran into a rash of small injuries. I'm fully confidant that under complementary coaching, he's a starting PG on a number of teams. Even if his ceiling is that of a defensive specialist.

the bulls run a 3 point offense, both love the 3 and are basically starting 3 point guards and always seem to have 3 point guards on the floor.
Liked Zachs game better lately, last night 30, 7 and 7. Love those board and assist numbers.

If Patrick Beverley can be a starter, so can Kris Dunn

Dunn? The guy that was in the starting lineup tonight, and finished with......0.0 points, and more turnovers than assists? That Dunn?

might have been the game of the year.

Boylen tried to screw it up by having Kornet inbound the ball while he is still getting the rust out of his joints.

All we run is a three or four guard offense and he picks slenderman to inbound the ball.

Just so we're clear, when the inbound man is being guarded you wanted someone other than the 7'2" man to do it?
