Dunno how I missed it. Bulls snatched Roy Rogers for the staff a few months ago? Seriously under-rated pick-up. Kind of assistant that will get you results in the middle of the roster, instead of the jokers GarPax kept/signed that made turds shine for short stints leading to questionable payouts.
I guess Boylen got to nab a coach that wasn't tied to upper management buddies.
Look, if they are just trying to avoid 'showcase' mode and have these guys ready the correct way, all is good. I take no issues with using the off-season and start of a season to do full rehabs. But if they are hiding deep lingering issues and just saving face, this backfires long term, because the already impatient fanbase will not trust you later (Boy Who Cried Wolf).
And it's not like the Bulls have re-earned all their credibility from the last few blunders.
