An interesting off-season moreso in the expanse of options they have.

Business List

1. Abreu?
2. Free agent outfielder? Lefty bat?
3. Left handed pitcher?
4. Veteran pitcher?
5. Move Jiminez? Anderson?
6. Roberts March to the bigs. (A good march or a good may...almost there kid).
7. Trade for defensive necessity?

Since Giolito has little veteran tutelage, he needs to look around the league and monitor trends.

A good pitcher to watch use his height this post-season is Glasnow in Tampa. A guy who struggled at times early in career, who came back from injury mid-season and is really using his size to be nearly unhittable. The Astros were lucky Verlander had his no hit stuff that night, and lucky to get past both Glasnow and Snell.

They might have to do it again after losing today, and if we get another chance to watch Glasnow I suggest White Sox watch closely how Giolito might incorporate some of Glasnow's style. One thing he does is Glasnow's release point is the closest to home plate in baseball. Its an advantage Gio should be sure to maximize.
