Should be a win ..you never know though. Wonder if Subban gets the nod.

I'm thinking it will be Crow again since they won last night.

Don't think so, Tates. That would be 3 games in 4 nites for him and I'm sure they want him playing vs the Blues so that would be 4 in 6 nites. Subban has to play sometime, this would seem to be the best spot for him.

I agree, but with Stan and JC trying to keep their jobs (hopefully) I think they will push for Crow again.

Totally agree. You got to play Subban tonight. Detroit is the worst team in the league on top of it, by a country mile (35 points with a -121 goal differential!) -- if you can't start your backup against them, you can't start him against anyone.

With crows injury situation they gotta at least see what Subban has. 4 points out.

I guess it is some bullshit contract situation since he was recalled on an emergency basis.

Usually, it's because a player who was originally scheduled to go tonight is either hurt or sick.

Sounds like Carlsson is out after taking a puck to the face last night, so that's why they called up Gilbert. At least, that's what Lazerus is reporting.

Sounds like the last we'll see of Seeler.

I doubt it, just gives us one extra if something happens morning skate.

Really dont see much more in Seeler than I saw in Gilbert, willing to run someone into the boards. Dont know who is playing for them, Glendening and Erne are both over 140 hits for the year.

I thought it was a money situation, cap rules. There were also some comments that they were trying to keep Gilberts rookie status to get more control. I expect to see Seeler, unless they want to give Murphy or Maata a night off.

I was about to ream out JC for overplaying Crawford but after watching tonights passing slopfest...it's probably the right move. All of a sudden, against a terrible team....they can't complete even the simplest of passes.

Hard to believe this is the same team that's won 4 straight and looked good doing it.

That’s why they aren’t a playoff team, the wings are dreadful, but by watching the game you would think Detroit was 4 points out of the playoff spot.
