Got an Air Fryer with a bunch of sauces and seasonings from my managers at our Christmas party this year, along with some sweet guitar picks of with my boys' face on them. Anyone got any experience with this seemingly badass piece of machinery? Any kickass recipes? I love chicken and shrimp but really looking to mix it up with anything.

My wife got one and refuses to use anything else since. Guess that’s not helpful but there’s a positive review for the technology

I've considered getting an air fryer but some of those selling points and known cons, have stopped me. Less fat and calories, they say. Not what I'm looking for. They're also said to take longer to cook while also drying out food faster. Again, the complete opposite of what I'm looking for.

Daughter got me one for Xmas. Love it. What Spartan says is true about less fat. When you do fries you simply spritz with oil instead of dunking them I have used it for various dishes and all of them have come out great. Makes a very tasty Cornish hen. Very crisp skin and juicy meat.

I have a Nuwave (Pro Plus) Oven and Cuisinart indoor grill, so I'm probably not going to buy the AirFryer, although it does look cool. Hopefully you'll share how you like it.

I bought both because I wanted another option mainly for steaks in the winter other than a fry pan or broiling them in the oven. The Cuisinart produces too much smoke indoors when I'm using it; The NuWave is actually pretty good though -- no smoke at all, but the thing is awkward and takes up a lot of space, plus not easy to clean. I will say that both are obviously better than using a stove-top when it comes to any sort of meat.

Wife uses ours all of the time. It has its uses particularly if you are looking for a lower fat option for cooking.

Air fryer is basically a convection oven.

it cooks it quicker. I use it for chicken wings. Really solid.
