Yeah it’s getting pretty annoying reading everyone whine about them like they are cheap. They are simply trying to get under the luxury tax which all the other large market teams have either tried to stay under or get back under to reset (Boston, LAD)

They are now est at 1.7 over. So arb cases will play big here and after math we might see trades to reduce more.

IMO they would prefer to be closer to 200m for mid season flexibility.
