Coby struggled from 3. But rather have him do it in SL than regular season.

It’s only summer league but Gafford was all over the place. He doesn’t have an advanced offensive game but he is a strong finisher, runs the floor hard and defends well.

He had 4 blocks along with his double double.

Coby did go to the basket a few times and on 2 or 3 he should have got a call but didn't. I didn't see anything about his game that really alarmed me. He didn't score well but it was moreso him just missing shots than defense bothering him.

So seeing the one assist alley oop dunk, nobody was upset White only ended up with 2 more assists after that one?

He wasn't shy about passing at all and had a few nice passes his teammates failed to convert.

He did. he just has to learn to finish stronger.

Well I have to stand down on Gafford after a single summer league game. Glad they helped the defense....needed to be done.

They added shooting and defense...

A little better for Coby tonight. Just have to cut back on the turnovers.

I actually thought he looked better the first game overall. Hes a very willing passer (which is good) but needs to work on his passing and when to pass. A few of his passes looked way too hard/off and others way too telegraphed/forced.

That said this is an abysmal team on offense. There is no spacing or flow of any kind. I'd like to see how Coby does in a more open and flowing offense. May make his adjustment to learning the position easier.

I haven't seen much of anything, but from what I have seen, Gafford seems at least able to score consistently within 2 feet of the basket so yay!
