Amazing we had Chris Ballard in the chair, pen in hand ready to sign 5 year deal--- but then he tells McCaskey family I don't want Sweaty Teddy anywhere
near me.
All of a sudden, a "Dark Horse" candidate emerges aka Ryan Pace

The rest is history

Ballard Playoff appearance = 1 in 2 years

Pace Playoff appearance = 1 in 5 years

Pro Football Writers Association Executive of the Year (2018) = Chris Ballard

Isn't it fitting you pick the WRONG GM who picks the WRONG QB

I am not a Pace fanboi, but at this point it's a wash. Neither one of them has won a playoff game. They've both seen some good years and some really bad years. I'd much rather have Fields at this point then Wentz.

I just don't get why with he didn't try and trade up for a QB and go with a vet like Taylor for a couple of months.

Pace has longer tenure so he’s worse.

Pace got us many years of a top defense and now gave us Fields. I am okay with that. IMHO Nagy hire or rather the continuing support for Nagy is his worst knock.

Any and all criticism of pace will be negated if Fields ends up a stud.

He isn't even that bad a GM, its just his misses are HUGE misses. First rounders, Franchise QB, and Head coach. You need to get all 3 of those right if you want to be a GM for a long time in this league.
