25. Howry-Useless, Veteran, Old
24. Grabow- The next Latroy Hawkins, but he gets more money.
23. Hill-Nothing bad to say, but nothing good either
22. Stevens- Has been decent, nothing wrong with him so far.
21. Zambrano- Shake your heads all you want, but he has been terrible.
20. Baker- Decent bat, and glove, but I wouldn't mind if we traded him.
19. Russell-Good rookie year, but no one else has done worse than him besides the people listed above.
18. Fontenot-Has been on fire, but slow start puts him here.
17. Nady- He is also rebounding, but injury and slow start puts him here.
16. Fukudome- Better one of the right field platoon, but barely.
15. Gorzelanny- One of his best years, if not his best. I wish him luck if we trade him.
14. Colvin- Has been very good this year for us. Our 3rd best Outfielder.
13. Soto- Has been slumping as of late, but had an impressive start.
12. Marshall- One of the majors best setup men this year.
11. Ramirez- I know he can rebound and get hot. He has showed it.
10. Wells- A bit of a disappointment, but has still been effective.
9. Lilly- Great outing today, but I would still like to see better.
8. Castro- He has been everything Cub fans have hoped for.
7. Silva- Comeback player of the year, 'nuff said
6. Soriano- Hot start, lets hope he continues it.
5. Marmol- Slowly emerging as one of the best closers.
4. Theriot- Has been playing like Ryan Theriot, which is good.
3. Dempster- Our best starter, has been an innings eater.
2. Lee- Starting to heat up, and when Derrek Lee is hitting the ball, you better watch out.
1. Byrd- I have stuck to my opinion that he is the best all around hitter on the Cubs.

I'd put Castro higher than Theriot, he's been batting .267 or something low like that this month.

I'd put Ramirez around 20 or so. Definitely not that close to the top 10.

If this list is a 2010 only list, I agree.

Seems to be a little mixed tho.

How the hell is Theriot #4? He's one of the worst players in baseball.

Him and Ramirez are easily 24 and 25. Ramirez has been statistically the worst hitter in baseball.

Theriot is NOT one of the worst players in baseball. That post was fucking Special person....
Horrible range for a SS. Horrible arm strength for a SS. Pretty accurate arm. Makes him suitable for a 2nd basemen. He hits the ball to the opposite field. He's in a bad stretch hitting. Don't overreact. Outside Uggla (who's a worse fielder by a mile), Cano, Utley, Phillips, Zobrist, Pedroia, or Roberts (all in no specific order)...Theriot is probably the next 2nd basemen on that list.

Ramirez is the worst player on the Cubs right now...You almost have to think he's playing with an injury that he hasn't detailed...

Silva and Marmol are 1a and 1b on this Cubs team. Both have been absolutely filthy.

Ryan Theriot has a .627 OPS. A .313 OBP from a LEADOFF hitter. His .288 wOBA is pathetic.

That wOBA is the fourth WORST of all second basemen. It is the 18th WORST in all of baseball.

His -0.1 WAR is 21st WORST in all of baseball. That is by definition one of the worst players in the game.
