He was considered the “high floor” guy. That’s what I meant by safe pick.
Thats about how i remember it as well. Atleast reading all the Draft "experts" analysis. It seems like the majority of them had Trubs 1st, Watson 2nd, and Mahommes 3rd.

Yeah, the also said he was the most accurate Qb in the draft, then he got here and started missing wide open wr's.

With all this said, I'm pulling for the guy. I don't wanna see us have to start another Qb search.

Ya i remember hearing most accurate and best footwork. Could be wrong but thats what i think i remember. Either way Trubs is the guy. Hope it works out.

That’s how I remember it too. We were in no position to take a gamble at any position let alone QB.

I hope it’s him just not being comfortable with the offense and his WRs because that was his biggest selling point.

No. Cutler is everything that’s wrong with the Bears organization. We settled for QBs like him that were nothing more than a band aid at best and it cost us numerous Super Bowls. He was never better than average in Chicago.

Sounds like your idol Trubisky. Just good enough to dupe the Bears and their most unintelligent fans into keeping him around but bad enough to actually take the team anywhere.

Run and Shit's posting is painful:

"Do I agree?"

HHM: "What's your opinion?"

Shit: "Here's a link to the article."

Everyone: "What the fuck just happened; and why can Run and Shit not answer a simple question?"

In your excuse for a brain you really do think Jay who was career average at best in Chicago to Mitch who was average in his first year in this offense and second in Chicago are comparable.

How would reading an article inform me as to whether or not you agree with the article? Did u write it?

How the heck would we know?
You'd know whether u agree or disagree by reading
the article

Anyway.....
It's cool article from the front page of CHI CITY SPORTS. Stevie Pusch wrote it. There's info. about other players / Qb's and jay that I wanted to share and get other opinions. I don't know if he's ranked low enuff. ?

That's cool if u don't want to read it though.

Yes I absolutely do think an average QB is comparable to another average QB.

Mitch in his best games is an above average QB. Jay is an average QB at his very best. Most times he wasn’t even average.

Nope. They’re both average at best, though Trubisky can still prove he’s better.

Jay Cutler deserves a higher ranking on Bears Top 100 list

Here's what one fan said in the comments

Terrible take. 8 seasons with garbage stats considering the pass happy offenses of the 2000s. You said it.
“A lot of disappointment”
“He struggled with turnovers.”
” he failed to live up to expectations both on the field and as a leader.”
Not to mention he won ONE playoff game against an under .500 team in Seattle.

At some point, just stop.
Thats me, fellas! Lol
