Sucks for Saints fans like @SilenceS

This season?

Maybe.

If the Saints can win enough games without him...it has Brees well rested for the Final Stretch because he sure looked run down for it last season.

Long term this could be the wake up call that franchise needs to remind them Brees is a few hundred years old and they should at least ponder drafting a QB.

You could, but they will.

LOL. Bears have legitimate concerns, no doubt but counting on Bridgewater to score is quite humorous. Face it, your season is over.

Dont be a meatball. The Saints are considered one of the most overall talented teams in football with one of the best backups in football that turned down being a starter to stay with the Saints.

The division doesnt look strong and Brees is back for second half of season. The season is far from over.

LOL no one wanted him as an outright starter. Teams were interested in him competing for a gig but he's not a starter. His best advanced metrics aren't near what Trubustsky had last year. His season high in TD's is 14 (twice in a row). He's garbage and Michael Thomas will go to waste in that offense. At least Kamara will have a crap ton of checkdowns to catch!

The Saints defense is almost as trash as the Bears offense.

LMAO. This is funny. Bridgewater's agent didnt want him to be a QB on a team that is intentionally tanking because it would do nothing but hurt his value the following year. I guess I should have said "no competitive NFL team" wanted him to start.

Maybe if you're lucky, Teddy will get to that magical 15TD plateau along with Trubustky. Maybe they can do it in the exact same weekend!

Bridge-over-troubled-water was about as good as Trutinstly. Should be a good 6-3 game when they play in October.
