I am saying you are the only one that seems to have taken issue with my comment as no one else responded to my post. So not sure anyone has made it a big deal except you.
That's just because the rest of us looked away or covered our eyes. Not wrong but not needed and previously understood. This is like dropping a glass and in the process of cleaning it up, your wife tells you that you shouldn't have dropped it.

we all know not a single yard was gained in rookie training camp......people are just looking for info.....

And training camp exists for a reason. So coaches can see how good you are and what you can do. If training camp was pointless and didn't measure anything.,....they wouldn't do it.

I say thanks to the OP for talking about Bears rookies, a subject we are all interested in. If some aren't interested, why even read the posts?

So it wasn't a big deal then. Exactly my point. It was a flippant comment that I am not sure why modo is freaking out about it.

It is pointless in terms of being proof of early returns.

It would be like me describing employee training on my job as a return on my investment when in fact it is part of my cost of investment to get the actual return ie profits from better service to customers.

So the stupidity is in confusing an input to the process ie investment with the output ie early returns.

Practice/training represents an investment not a return on investment. Productivity in actual games is the return in a sporting context.

Not sure how logically explaining why the article and your defense of the term early returns is wrong is freaking out.

I literally said I wasn't defending the term......it was just a working thread title to explain what was going on in training camp...

They are running without pads and often going against air. If they don't look 'good' we have a problem.

So what concerns you modo? Several people have suggested this is just fluff offseason bullshit but yet you seem fixated on my response only. Did you miss me or something?

I responded to your post just saying it was no big deal....the title really wasn't literal returns. And we spiraled together from there.

stop freaking out.

Just trying to aid you in your crusade against people who think minicamp returns are exaggerated. You seemd to have missed quite a few.
