While I agree the loss is ultimately on Nagy, it doesn’t help when the QB has 2 second half turnovers and overthrows the fastest player on the field against a linebacker.

I do think Trubisky took a small step in the right direction though. If the team is going to burn, just let Trubisky sling down field

This is ultimately true but if this is all that is looked at by the Bears this will most assuredly happen again.
A good coach should use this as fuel to teach or motivate or self assess.

Nagy being the optimist will see this as “we are improving and that is sort of half true”

Trubisky left a lot of points out there but you win. And lose as a team! A QB is very easy to blame or crown hero.

all I know is that it’s frustrating. Rather lose this way then be completely dominated. Just my opinion

Stats are worthless. Absolutely worthless. If we look at our three wins I think we were behind in the stats on at least two of them.

Here i s the truly sad part about our history of QB play here in the Windy City.


If Trubisky manages to not get hurt more and plays out the rest of the year at the level he is playing he will somehow manage to post the 11th best passing yard season in Chicago Bears history. Just if he continues at his anemic 216 yards per game (not counting the Oakland game where he went down after only throwing three passes). It has gotten to the point where I not only expect the Bears to such at the QB position, but that I have no hope that anyone involved in this organization can recognize or develop anyone of talent.

Or 1 player loses it by missing a wide open pass that would have given us a touchdown and then turned the ball over close to our own red zone giving the opposition a short field to score the winning touchdown

Leno got shoved into Trubisky, which knocked Trubisky into Massie. Ultimately Massie's ass caused the fumble.
