Won't know until MRI probably. He said they don't think ACL. Nothing confirmed that I know of.

technically they are the same thing. A sprained ligament has a partial tear.
With that being said when someone completely tears the MCL they rarely need surgery. Its rehab and assuring that the supporting muscle groups are strong and firing correctly.

I feel bad for Forte if this does indeed turn out to be a significant injury. He was priming himself to be setup for a nice sized pay day this off season from someone.

I think he would be great with the Cowboys next year. Their OL lets the RB get two yards before contact. That would be crazy for Forte.
