Making landfall around Lake Okeechobee, then turning north up the state. If it takes that track it will be significantly weakened by the time it gets to Central FL. Of course this could all easily change in the next few days.

That looks like a direct hit as Cat 1. With how slow the storm is moving that could still be catastrophic. I was reading that GFS had it stalled out over warm water this morning.

Cat 1 ain't no thing. I'm mostly worried about it moving slow and dumping a ton of rain.

We parked our boat in St Augustine which looks to be well north of where it is going to hit land.... but this asshole hurricane wants to run right up the coast after it makes landfall.

We parked our boat in St Augustine which looks to be well north of where it is going to hit land.... but this asshole hurricane wants to run right up the coast after it makes landfall.
The models have been all over the place. Ready for whatever though.

Models have it shifting east more. Hopefully that trend continues.
