Maybe it's me but it looks like since Cornelius Lucas is in, the o-line is playing better. We never hear Lucas name wich is a good thing for an o-lineman.

They both suck. The middle has been A LOT better, Trubisky actually has a pocket to step into sometimes.

Lucas used to get his name called a LOT by refs when he played for Detroit. Played like his feet were in cement. But he seems to be a lot better now.

Still could use an upgrade, or at least more depth. Massie isn't it...

Rashaad Coward is looking a lot better and maybe serviceable but RT is a must in the off season.

The Bears are better partly because they have been forced to make better personnel decisions,

Wims > Gabriel
Lucas > Massie
Holtz, Horsted > Shaheen and Burton
James Daniels LG > James Daniels C
-Less Cohen
-Less Patterson

It will not be unless they draft an OT.

Lucas has been good the past few games. I know his resume does not scream starting RT, but what we are seeing right now is impressive.

Lucas should be offered an extension to at a minimum be the swing OT.

James Daniels has looked much better at LG than he did at C.

Whithair at C has stopped the mental busts and bad line calls and we have seen less missed assignments and free runners.

Coward has been okay, he is physical, but that is a spot where you could upgrade on your way to dominant.

Lucas has been better than Massie. He isn't special but he is so big that guys have a hard time dealing with his length. You do not see the straight up misses you were seeing from Massie.

Leno continues to be the weak link. He is mediocre in the run game if he is doing anything more than cutting off the backside and he is pushed around in pass pro too much.

Overall, the Daniels to C thing was a disaster. He was not ready, like Mitch, for the mental demands of the position. They are playing competent football and the run game has improved because they have simplified are getting 5 guys on 5 defenders on most plays.
