The bigger question is how many of them are actually strikes......no stats, but my guess would be less than 50%.

He gets a ridiculous strike called in nearly every ar bat. But then takes perfect pitches for strike three. He is guessing and guessing wrong.

Yikes that was a bad missed call by Diaz on that strike 3. But the Cubs still need to hit.

100% of them, as they're called. It's not a valid excuse.

Maples shouldn't be pitching in that spot. The cubs badly need bullpen help. Too bad the billionaire owner can't afford it.

Yet another game lost because of walks.....I don't care, you just can't keep giving games away like that.

D. Maples may not be a legit MLB pitcher, looks like less than C. Marmol V.2.

He has the nastiest slider I may have ever seen in my life. He has control issues. Been his problem his whole career.

No, if you have 2 strikes and it's close enough to be called a thrid strike you have to swing. Just stupid to ever end with the bat on your shoulder.

If it isnt his pitch he should foul it off

Not an excuse... a fact. Balls & strikes in MLB has been a clusterfuck for quite a while. If it wasn't there would be zero talk of using tech to replace the umpires in that area.

You know, I thought about that while I was typing that up....the too close to take thing. In another era maybe but most all of these guys are swinging from the heels. Who else other than Rizzo chokes up to make contact on this team?

WTF you talking about. You are the king of whining. Nobody whines more than you

Lol....
Schwarber looking at another called strike, quick how many times has he done that?

Maybe it hurts to swing because of all the weight he gained back..

Yeah, but the ump missed the strike up earlier in the schwarber at bat. That hicks is amazing, up to 104, can the gun really be that hot? That 95 changeup that got Almora was just dirty. What is there less than a second to react to 100?
