I get that. But it was more of focusing on his speed and D.

If Almora was that fast I would feel the same. Billy covers more range which makes up for Nicholas' lackings as a OF.

But I really don't think there are many perfect CF anymore. Cain is about the best one out there. Rest have warts.
you cannot compare Almora already taking 2-3 steps when the ball is hit to a guy that has speed to get there.
The only reason Billy Hamilton should be here would be to pinch run late, try to steal a run, then stay in the game for defense.
Why was Castellanos playing right field for the tigers, was he the best of three terrible outfielders?

I know its common to swarm to a guy like you have watched his entire career from little league and all, But I can never remember seeing him on top 10 on sportscenter.

Only chance we have is to keep this at 2 or 3 runs and get to their bullpen

Cubs will be fine. Waiting for Silence to tell us to relax and everything will be okay.

I find watching Fangio coach his first game as a head coach more interesting. This bunch of losers have been done for over a month.

castellanos strikeout was like a 9 pitch at bat I believe. Bryant followed that up by striking out on 3 pitches, then Rizzo grounded out on 1 pitch. Real impressive work from them

According to Bryant this was a "season deciding stretch", so how has the big "Core 4" done during this most critical point in the season? During this 3-6 road trip Baez is htting .233 Rizzo .161 Bryant .216 and Contreras .153....for a 'Core 4' combined average of .193. Way to go guys. We've been waiting nearly 180 games for this team to "hit like they are supposed to". Once again...like the end of last year...after Theo's challenge....it's the same ole garbage especially when it's a more pressure situation. They fold like a cheap suit. This IS consistency. They are consistent in their utter failure when the slightest pressure is on. Any other division and the Cubs are long gone out of it. So .193 average is how the Cubs big sluggers respond? In this "season deciding stretch"? (Bryant's words... not mine). Pathetic.
