Colorado has won 11 of 13 and is 2nd in NL West. They started the year really bad and have turned it on. There lineup is very tough.

IMOP, it doesn't make a difference who they play. If they play like they are capable of playing...they can beat anyone they play. If they don't.....well, you saw what happened in St. Louis.

I would look over a body of work. But what Cargo does do is replace Schwarber's presence lower in the order.

I wouldn't expect much though. They pushed the button after he hit his first HR. Basically they knew that they were missing a left handed HR threat there.

The guy that they want us Happ in that role but he is struggling vs AAAA pitching. At the majors he is a .180 hitter.

So the move is more about bringing line up balance. Russell is a plus defender and Descanasio is not. Cargo has won gold gloves in the past so he is not inept in the OF.

So over all I really like how this is looking. But sure there is risk involved. If there wasn't then he would not have hit the market.

And I want to see him make Col pay for letting him walk.
