My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
You can always tell when the Cubs win a game. The whining, crybaby groupies aka MeatballJJ, the idiot, TBD and of course the Dildo/Alts are no where to be found.

Fire Maddon!!! Blow it all up and rebuild!!! Fire Theo!!!

Whatever I missed feel free to fill in the blanks....
I am right here. Have been all game. I love when the Cubs win. Still have my doubts about Maddon though.

Should have swept them though. Don't you agree?

No, they are a Major League Baseball team.

Cubs should have taken game 2. After losing like that X2 then they pulled the stick out of their asses.

I get game 1. Team has sucked vs lefties. 2 was a slap to their face. 3 was a enraged beast.

Idk if you can really call a 30 hr/100 rbi guy streaky... at the end of the year, the numbers are always there.
That's not what I'm saying. You're talking year by year when you say 30 hr/ 100 rbi we all know that already. Rizzo's streak comes like this, 1 month hits 1hr and hit's like 210 avg, next month hits 8hr's and hits like 400 avg. Following month back down again. He streaks! When he's hot he's hot when he' cold he's really cold.

Splits show that he has been Jekyll and Hyde this year. Month to month has been drastically bipolar
there were definitely times this year he deserved to get dropped to the 5 or 8 hole.

As far as this series, I was expecting a playoff cubs lineup and Joe snatches Contrares at the top of the order out of his ass, then puts the Italian pony up there, (have we noticed his is now slashing like .240/.275) and plays happ all 3 games.

Cant wait till the light bulb goes on and people can stop with the great manager who is smarter than everyone here.

I would lead off with him again

Joe has been using him to split up Baez, Bryant and Contreras. He will let 2 go back to back but not all 3 in a row.

Schwarber had a great game. He needs quality AB's in general before moving him up again.

Happ is hitless. Is taking walks.

Garcia is showing his flaws now.

So if you went in house lead off Rizzo is the best.

Rizzo
Baez (just because he is dynamic)
Bryant
Heyward for now.
Contreras
Garcia
Happ
Schwarber. He keeps tearing it up move to #4.

Our offense stalled with rizzo at leadoff even as he had great numbers and hit some Hrs.

Rizzo at leadoff is a terrible idea.

But you write Baez just because he is dynamic. Just because he has not frustratingly taken a walk in a month, he still is hitting .353 when he makes contact.

I like it when Maddon limits Schwarber's plate appearances, because the Cubs have much better options or something.

There were other factors involved. Injury to Bryant and Davis leveling out the hitters swing planes. They were leading baseball in ground outs due to that.

Schwarber is far better when he has to act like a hitter vs act like a lead off.

I said dynamic. It is because he is a spark plug and a play maker. The Cubs were playing their best baseball with him as a catalyst.

But yes as a lead off you really want a .400 OBA. I love Rizzo there because he is naturally strong with BB:SO. hovers the plate and will take a hit on a inside pitch. His plate approach is outstanding as a lead off.

well, that is neither Garcia or Contrares so who knows. Maddon is so much smarter than all of us put together and multiplied by 10.
