Dude has been a Bear his whole career. That's how he's going to think of himself until he's not here anymore. So it's not surprising for him to say that at a time that he's still on the team and has gone through the fire with his team for several years.
I think it's very likely he's back, either via franchise tag or new deal. But I don't think his guarantee is an indicator of anything.
