7 days left til the end of the season.

Everyone is expecting Joe to get the axe after the season ends. Or if they are eliminated this week can be sooner.

But could we all be in for a surprise and Theo gets the boot along with Joe or Joe stays?

This past off-season Ricketts didnt let Theo spend any of his money. He surely was sending him a signal that he was not happy with all the bad signings Theo has made the past 2 off seasons.

It'll be an interesting week.

Joe always got credit for this, but the side shows have been entertaining the Nationals, made me believe it was all Davey Martinez.

Something is happening though, they got Jason McLeod out of the scouting for the draft job and moved him laterally to the major league club to senior vice president of player personnel. Dont know if it was a pay bump or just a title, but it sounds like he is going to help theo rebuild the major league roster instead of building the system.
He was good, maybe one of the best, but with the weakest system in baseball, has he really been doing a good job or moved to find someone better?
