What's going on with this guy? Is he still hurt. Something just doesn't seem right with him this season.
i dont know. i keep seeing him take fastballs down the plate for strike 3. he seems to be a step behind.
He’s cares little about winning and only about that big payday. He already turned down the Cubs massive contract offer thinking he’s worth more. Trade him in the offseason to any unsuspecting dimwit who thinks he has value. Good riddance. What's going on with this guy? Is he still hurt. Something just doesn't seem right with him this season.
He’s been living off one good season. If the cubs give him 300 million they are the idiots they have always been.
Which one season would that be?
2015 6.1 WAR?
or
2016 7.8 WAR
or
2017 6.7 WAR?
He has 4.5 WAR this season thus far which is closing in to Baez's #2 MVP season total. (5.3) which was worse than those 3 seasons.
But if you gauge it by MVP or but well Yelich had a 7.6 MVP season so I guess anything less than a 7 WAR means he is a choker right?

For Bryant's career his stats are .285 BA. .279 with bases empty, .294 with men on base and .268 with RISP. This year he is currently hitting .289. .273 with bases empty, .314 with men on base and .273 with RISP. League BA for 2019 is .254.I don’t view life or sports by numbers. I prefer to go by what I see and feel. But since you like to toss out stats tell me, how often does he drive in runs when he comes up to the plate with men in scoring position?
I said earlier that Bryant was having a fine season so I'm with you until a point. But you leave out 2018 where he only had a 2.3 WAR. Maybe you excuse that by saying he had a nagging injury but the numbers are still the numbers.
