What about if GarPax traded the #7 pick to the Sixers for the rights to HC Brett Brown?
Probably better than the player they select at 7,

could we keep teams from scoring 140 with a Brown?
I'm in.

If we trade to #3 and don't take Barrett that would be the kicker.

However...if we trade up to #3...

then flip Barrett to the Pelicans for a kings ransom that includes #4...

Lets say #4(Garland), and Ingram...

would make more sense and bring things the team needs, defense not withstanding.

If the Pelicans are willing to pay the Bulls more for the #3 than the Bulls pay the Knicks, why would they not simply trade with the Knicks?

Hunter has a high floor. I see him as a pick the Bulls would make.

1. Its awkward to trade with the team directly in front of you.
2. There could be different players involved that are either the right player for the knicks, or have the right value for the swap.

For instance, maybe Ingram is desired but too valuable, but Lavine and contract can be exchanged.Contracts have to line up. etc...the NBA often ends up in these situations.

Simple ends up complicated.

KC keeps talking about Jaxson Hayes. Considering this is coming out of nowhere and we obviously don't need a big, there must be some smoke coming from the FO.

Kinda makes sense they would swing for the fences in this draft and Jaxson fits that.

the Bulls just drafted WCJr. I couldn't see them taking Hayes the next year
