It’s even worse when you remember the third round pick they traded ended up being where Alvin Kamara was drafted.

says 28 team's fans
The Bears had the 3rd overall pick and took a QB after trading up to 2 and WAS NOT him.

You couldn’t defend the trade then and you certainly can’t defend it now.

You FO/Mitch guys can’t take the L on that pick. All of us want Mitch to be good but he’s not and it’s clear he wasn’t the guy to take there.

"We could've had Mahomes" is stupid. Like 3 people on this forum wanted Mahomes over Watson and Trubisky. Lol.
I wouldn’t be against the move if they took Mitch 3; the issue is they gave up 2 3rds and a 4th to take Mitch when it was clear then and clear now he’s not better.

But you keep defending it.

God you’re dumb.

So what. Our QB can go a whole game without completing a pass and still be in the game. Mitch hands the ball off so well Nagy doesn't even need to air it out. Chiefs are just playing desperate.

I've been on Mitch's case so far this year so STFU. Mahomes went at 10 and almost any team can find their way there if they want a guy bad enough. As I recall, it wasn't a bidding war.

Not every team was in a market for qb. The bears were and the best and the second best qbs in the draft were taken after the bears pick. That is a talent evaluation fail on the part of pace.

Andy Reid pre-draft:

"There is only one QB in this draft."

Reporter:

"And you aren't going to tell us which one that is are you."

Andy Reid:

"Nope." (with a wink)

That tells you all you need to know about what the guy who drafted the right one thought about ours.

The Chiefs did trade up, and as my post above shows, wish I had a link to confirm but he said that on live tv...

Reid called it, though Watson might disagree.

this mistake should cost pace his job but it won't. It will be up there with drafting sam bowie over jordan and oden over durant as one of the biggest draft busts.
