Cowboys have had the best oline for years. An above avg qb and top 2 RB. How’s that worked out?

Teams need draft picks to “rebuild”. Bears have very few picks this year.

9ers have drafted well and had top picks after the year Jimmy G was on IR.

IMO, If there’s anything this year has taught us It is without a dominate TE who can block, run and catch, you’re going to struggle in the playoffs.

Any QB can win with what the 49ers did last night.

Jimmy's a way better QB than Mahomes. He's not Special person, he has actual short to intermediate accuracy, and he doesn't play for Andy Reid.

49ers O-line just dominates the LOS. You could back a semi between most of the holes they have been opening this season. Very impressive unit.

And Chicago has bad contracts with both of their shit offensive tackles (Leno, Massie) and don't have crap at Right Guard. Whitehair is their best Guard and he's forced to play Center because they guy drafted to play Center isn't good at it so he has to play LG.

Point being, the Bears O-line is a mess and Chicago isn't winning shit until they fix it.

That's 1 game. Try to stop being such a dufus.

One game TO GO TO THE SUPERBOWL, no big deal....also 2nd in rushing for the season behind the Ravens, also no big deal deal I guess.

He's gonna have to throw more than 8 passes to win THAT game is my doofus prediction but it's cool it's just one game right?

QB doesn't have to do a damn thing with a run game like theirs. Next thread.

You can also win with a top QB and a less than perfect supporting cast.

Sadly Bears have neither.

Pace is really quite awful when you think about it and how he has built the offensive side of the ball since being hired.

Really? Whos done that?

They had a terrible play caller.

You guys are missing the point. What got them to that point? Remember when 49ers had key defensive injuries and Jimmy stepped up and won those games.

The game against the saints Mitch would have lost.
The game at Seattle he would have lost
The really close games against the Cardinals Jimmy was great in he would have lost 1 of those games.

That would be them at 10-6 and give them no bye week and a complete different trajectory for the season. Their levels of confidence wouldn't be as high.

Funny how someone talks about not having recency bias but is having it in this thread.
Jimmys team is 21-5 with him and went 4-12 without him last year. Mitchs team would have went 8-8 without him this year.

It doesn't matter if Mitch could win with a team like the Niners. This isn't a team like the Niners and never will or should be.

Like Nagy or not, the team is going to have to win with his offense. If they can't, someone else needs to play QB. They don't need to get an entirely new team to appease their bad QB.

In a way the Niners are having the kind of season the Bears did the season before. Everything just clicked behind a suffocating defense. They are just much better at beating Green Bay and get to go to the Super Bowl because of it.

The Cowboys did have the #1 offense in football, I guess it worked out pretty well in that regard.

Bears would have easily made the playoffs with that run game...

They average a full yard per carry more than the Bears and 63 more yards per game..

That would have made the passing game better and the offense better.

The rushing yards alone would have put the Bears 11th in the league in offense in yards per game.

What? The niners are essentially what we were in 2018, but they actually have a run game.

Football comes down to the battle in the trenches.

This year the bears looked like shit because both lines sucked balls.

Pretty fuckin simple.

That's my point. The Bears have no interest in actually having a run game. They could have a great OL and Nagy's still going to run as a compliment to the passing game. He's not going to change his philosophy (which now includes other pass-happy offensive coaches) because Mitch can't throw. He's going to get somebody who can throw.

The Niners were 2nd in the league in points scored. They were 13th in passing and 2nd in rushing. The Bears were 9th scoring, 11th rushing and 21st passing in 2018. They were closer to the 2006 Superbowl Bears than 2018.
