but any way to land Mookie Betts with prospects?

It would be the capstone to this rebuild. Tatis could be our future CF...but after Encarnacion's year its really center field that would complete the team. They went after Machado, I feel they are serious. That would be the ultimate piece to this puzzle, and a bonified lead-off man to boot.

looking up past...he grew up in Nashville and had no favorite team. Went to Tennessee.

I suppose he will take the biggest offer. Could be great timing for us if we are exciting and have a hole at Center Field, lead-off.

never actually played for Tennessee though, unfortunately. Committed to them but then got drafted and decided to go pro
