Purple Thai has some Mexican breeding. It was an early variety I could stand. Not everyone wants to be tripping balls 24/7.
The mold curing of brick wasn't the best though. And smashed seeds not rolling down an album cover sucked.

I spent some time in Thailand in the 70's. The pot they had was so good it caused hallucinations. We smoked one joint between 4 guys on the beach and ended up in the infirmary with such bad sunburns because we spaced out and sat in the Thai sun for over 2 hours in our swimming trunks. Anyone who has been there knows that is a real no no. You could roll your joint and then wrap the paper around it it was so sticky.
