Anyone know where to go where the lines aren’t insane? I’m in Niles.

Its fucked everywhere. Just get used to it for awhile until they open more stores. Either that or the black market will pick up the slack...

What is your point with this picture?

Point was to give you a visual aid about your question.
You're in NM? I think I saw there's a bill in the works there.

I was one of those 77k customers.
Went with one of my oldest and best friends. In fact, we both got high for the first time together way back in the 90s.
Our time was 3 hours from getting into the back of the line, to walking out the door.
It was a bit breezy but it was a 40º day in Illinois in January.
The time passed quickly. Cool stoner people in line to chat with.

Interesting that it's cash only.

Does that number include tax?

Not sure, just the numbers being reported.

Either way, if that number can be averaged per day eventually, then it ends up being a 1.2 billion industry a year just in the state of Illinois

That is because it is still federally illegal and the banks won't touch the money. They have to store the money in warehouses.

Sounds like a movie plot.

I wonder what Nicholas Cage is up to.

Fortunately, that should be changing soon. Also, I’ve used my CC at dispensaries in other states before. So, there’s ways to do it already

It's 10% on anything under 35% THC, 25% on anything over 35%, and 20% on edibles.
That's also on top of state and local sales taxes
I paid 17% tax on the herb I bought.
