Run defense will struggle mightily against bigger OLines. Det, Philly, NO, Dall will all have their way in the ground game. Oakland just proved that.

Not sure how the defense gets off the field with a reduced pass rush & mediocre run d
Well to be fair Incognito's half dozen uncalled chop blocks played a lot more into that.

There is obviously no replacement for Hicks, but what is Nichols status?

Anderson is back on the active roster again isn't he?

It is going to be important that the offense sustain some drives, because the defense will be less effective and are playing a very good Saints team, even without Brees.

Their inability to sustain drives has been the biggest issue the Bears have had since last season. That’s how you protect the defense.
People wonder why they always look gassed late in games.

Tough break. They were already facing an uphill battle. Lets see how that depth on defense looks. Great vs Vikings. Dogshit vs Raiders.

Isn't that the guy that turned the Pats down? Who is this guy?

Did they say that correctly that an offensive lineman(Bars) is taking Hicks' place? Isn't that the guy that turned the Pats down? Who is this guy?

Bars is an offensive lineman. He will not be taking Hicks' place. He is an UDFA out of ND coming off of an ACL tear(?). Likely was going to be a mid-round pick until that happened last September.

Hicks being out the year is very, very tough. Raiders exposed the blueprint to beat the Bears. All of this is ultimately going to fall on Mitch. We said it in the off-season and it rings true louder now than ever. It's on him. Bears offense must score points and a lot of them.

We will know exactly who we have in Mitch Trubisky in the next 11 games.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
When can someone come off of IR after being designated, 8 weeks?

What is the timeline for something like this - I can see Long being done but Hicks being designated to return.
