The Full Monty is a winner.

When I look at him...I think something like "No legs" Montgomery...

or "Crazy Legs" ... something based on his style.

I stand with @MarylandBear111 on this issue. I've never understood this place and the infatuation with nick names for a player they don't even know. Let the guy play some games, maybe even a full season and earn a nick name.
They've crowned him already. I wont let them off the hook. His name should just be a crown emoji.
Not since Major Wright has a pick been so hyped around here.

I second crown emoji.

If he doesn't top 1000 yds QND 10 TDs, CCS should be FORCED to call him crown emoji, and failing to do so would result in a ban.

Any objectives?

I'm with Maryland and HawkBear. I don't like nor really use nicknames but the names should happen organically over time.

My username for example is a product of when I decided to stop lurking and start posting. I thought it was hilarious when Gruden compared Jay Cutler favorably to the fictional gunslinger Josey Wales.

It showed he understood absolutely nothing about the character of Josey Wales nor Cutler.

You aren't wrong but it's a big product of Nagy and our newfound winning in his offensive system.

If I remember when Wright was drafted, we also had the pieces together for a playoff run and we did indeed go on that run heading into the 2010 season.

Winning brings out the hype more. I actually find it far more tolerable than when we are losing. That's when the homers stretch for optimism anywhere and get preemptively and irrationally angry at realism

"Monty" isn't clever...

It's just what we'd want to call him until something organic comes up.

It's like trying to call Mitchell Trubisky "Maserati"... besides being a bit G, he's hardly lighting it up, it doesn't fit his play nor personality. He looks and plays more like a Mako shark... more steely eyed, determined, bulkier and tough. He reminds me more of Jim Plunkett. ?

I am going to stab myself in the face with a soldering iron if people refer to him as Screamin D. Mon. or The Cincinnati Cyclone
