I feel like Khalil has been in this spot every week, but he is going to be the storyline of the day regardless...so may as roll with him one more time. Mack has had 3.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles in his last two games. Now Mack gets to face off against the team that chose life without him on an international stage with his current team looking to take control of their division for the second consecutive season. Which is as good as a reason as ever that the Raiders snatched up Trent Brown. For sure Mack will be moving around to exploit other match-ups, but this should be the most interesting one of the day.
ALLEN ROBINSON vs GAREON CONLET
ROQUAN SMITH vs DARREN WALLER
Could be that the fans will never really know why Roquan was a very late scratch in last week's division battle with the Vikings, but he reported himself that he will suit up for the London game. His timing is excellent as the Raiders have a tightend in their lineup that is on pace for over a 100 receptions for almost 1300 yards going against a defense that really has not been tested too much with the position. Which is as good as a reason as ever that the Bears snatched up Roquan Smith. Waller is coming off the best game of his career...Smith is coming off the most bewildering benching up of his career. Someone is getting bested, but literally whomst?!?!?
This is only the second regular season game the Bears have played in London. They defeated the Buccaneers 24-18 at Wembley Stadium in 2011. The Bears had four interceptions in that game...one of four games with at least four interceptions since the start of the 2009 season. Unfortunately for the team, two of the other three games were interceptions thrown by the Chicago Bears...specifically former Bear QB Jay Cutler. The London game also featured Bears running back Matt Forte rushing for 145 yards which was the highest rushing total by any player in a London game...until topped by New York Jets tailback Chris Ivory who ran for 166 yards in 2015 against the Dolphins.
