CHARLES LENO vs CAMERON JORDAN

The resurgence of the Saints' defense the last few seasons can be credited to many pieces, but it begins and ends with their All-Pro defensive end. The regression of the Bears' offense this season can be credited to many pieces, but this week it will begin and end with struggling left tackle, Charles Leno Jr. The former seventh round pick has never been spectacular, but had been solid for years now in Chicago while never missing a start the last six seasons. Five games into the worst season of his career...can Leno regain his former composure before the talented Saints' defensive line end this game before it begins?

TREY BURTON vs VONN BELL
One of the key components missing from the 2018 Chicago Bear Offense is TE Trey Burton. After seeing an 80% snap count and 76 targets in the passing game in 2018 (that he turned into 54 catches for 569 yards and six scores), Burton is on Pace to get 34 catches for 182 yards and no trips to the end zone in 2019. Vonn Bell is a fourth year safety playing for his first NFL contract and it is showing. An excellent run stuffer, Bell is tied for the Saints leading tackler at 38 combined tackles. With Marshon Lattimore ready to shadow Allen Robinson all afternoon, someone else is going to have to be able to step up in the Bears' passing game and Matt Nagy's entire offense seems to work better when that someone is Trey Burton. Can last season's stand out tight end out match this season's stand out safety?

EDDIE GOLDMAN vs ANDRUS PEAT

Andrus Peat was drafted by the Saints to play left tackle, but after a few inconsistent seasons...has now found a more comfortable spot at left guard. Only allowing one sack and one penalty so far this season, while grading out as an excellent run blocker for star running back Alvin Karmara. However, Eddie Goldman may be the most talented nose tackle Peat has had to face thus far. With a rookie a center next to him, can Peat keep the relentless Goldman out of Teddy Bridgewater's pocket or will Goldman pick up where the Cowboys left off two weeks ago?

2618

The Chicago Bear rushing attack continues to stagnate in 2019. After five games, the Bears have gained eight or more yards on only 10 of their 118 rushing attempts. Furthermore, during Matt Nagy's entire run as head coach, the team has only had a player break 100 yards rushing in a single game twice. Both by Jordan Howard...who was traded to the Eagles during the offseason.

If they can't beat the Saints without Kamara and Drew Brees at home, they really are fucked.
17-3 Saints. Bears offense can’t stay on the field, defense wears down in 2nd half

Brees, Kamara, Cooks, Trey Henderkison, Tra'Quan Smith, and PJ Williams. 3 skilled position players and a starting DE, and slot corner. Smith is starting receiver as well, but he hasnt done much.

Mitch Trubisky: 22-30, 203 yards, 2TD, 0INT, 2 rushes, 9 yards.
David Montgomery: 16 carries, 53 yards, 1 reception, 8 yards.
Allen Robinson: 6 receptions, 68 yards, 1TD.

Bears: 23
Saints: 20

- Everybody is high on the Saints' D right now but they've been cracked this season and the Bears' O will be given plenty of opportunities to do that. Trubisky and Nagy will crack them if Trubisky is protected.

- Again, everybody is high on Teddy Bridgewater right now but he really isn't a good QB, and this will be the best defense he's faced. He's also without Kamara and Cook, so I'm thinking it'll be a largely frustrating day for the Saints' O until the Bears go into their prevent shell.

That all depends on which defence shows up, if it’s anything like the loss versus the Raiders it could become a very long day for our Bears.

Sooo, the Saints score early and go for 2 on one of the TD's? Sounds logical

Football isn't always logical young grasshopper. Also you're talking about an aggressive coach who kicked a fucking onsides kick to begin the 2nd half of a superbowl. Was that logical?
