For whatever reason, all of these milestone years/ages just never really hit me the way I thought they should.

Turning 21 was anti-climatic because I could get into just about any place I wanted to drink by 19 without ever needing an ID. I thought 30 would mess with me...nope. Same with 40. 50 be creeping, but I just doubt it will be much different than 40.

Going from the 70s to the 80's and then to the 90s.

The freaking millennium....meh.

However, 2019 really got to me because it was exactly 30 years ago I hit 18, packed up my stuff, spread my wings and flew out into the world to make a go of it. Three full decades of adulting and I did such a wonderfully shit job of growing up.

I have always been bad at things like "setting goals" and "planning out my life more than three weeks in advance", so I got nothing else for this thread. Maybe I will take interest in just one more Chicago sports team sometime in the next decade, so I can start posting in more forums here.

Does that count?

Are the Bulls watchable yet?

Do NOT watch the Bulls

I don't think I was ever a true Bulls fan...just a Michael Jordan fan. My interest in the Bulls and pretty much the NBA as a whole was born and died with his Bulls career.

Maybe I should become a Fire fan and just spend a few months out of the year talking to myself in that forum. I think it could be theraputic.

It’s crazy to think about for me. In the next 10 years I will graduate college, buy a place of my own, start a career, hopefully meet my future wife, and who knows what else. What are you guys excited / nervous about for this new decade. What are some thinks you want to accomplish this decade?
Live till the end of it. Would be my lifelong dream to see my grandchildren grow and blossom into young adults and have that time with them.
