About 15% of your final roster are O-linemen; 15% of 90 man pre-season roster =14; Bears have 15 on the roster right now; seems about right and requires no further thought...

I don't recall ever seeing this many oline in camp. It's usually "Rex Grossman is our QB" type stuff. If this is how the new crew does things even when we're not down 2/3 I like it. Should always be looking for upgrades.

I don't know about that, or even how people came up with that. It sure wasn't like that last time he was here. If anything it was a couple key players that made the line when he was last here.
I guess because he was there for a lot of college players who made it.

OL coach takes guys with traits and teaches them leverage, footwork etc while bulking them up in the offseason. you don't tend to reap the benefits of a good one for a year or 2.
