Surprised about the Shumpert part. The NY Triangle just got one less black hole.

Dude...we're going to get annihilated by Cleveland now. They have the G.O.A.T.

Waiters is the good kind of headcase, the guy who says what others think, but aren't willing to say it. JR Smith is the GOAT tho, he'll be answering questions like "Who do you like playing beside more, Melo or LBJ?", and we'll get to see the lulz.

I just realized something.

LeBron complained to management that this Cavs team needs more floppers, and thus they figured out how to add more flopping power.

I don't understand this trade for Cleveland other than to get rid of Waiters whom LeBron seems to dislike.

So JR Smith and Shumpert are headed to Cleveland. Waiters goes to the Thunder... Several non-guaranteed contract to the Knicks.

Cavs seem to be giving up Lou Amundson and Alex Kirk too.

The Knicks are dumping anything they can. That's understandable. The Cavs taking Smith & the Thunder swapping Jackson for Waiters? It just seems odd right now. Shumpert will help ease the defensive burden on Lebron but Smith is a worse chucker than Waiters and a bigger headcase. Jackson is a solid combo guard who came up in the OKC system & now he's swapped for Waiters, a dumbass but a potentially a coachable dumbass with terrible shot selection.

Weird trade overall. Doesn't solve any of the teams issues except for the Knicks, who get a good triangle offense guard in Jackson, cash, picks, and rid themselves of bad contracts.

Woz is now saying Reggie Jackson is not part of the trade.

Frees the Knicks of some of their garbage. Also helps them lose more games this year and put themselves in a spot to get a lottery pick.

This is a desperation move for the Cavs. Looks like JR Smith is an expiring deal, but I could be wrong. In that case it could be good for the Cavs

If Waiters buys into the Thunder they could be getting the better of the trade.

Still a win for the Knicks, who will waive all of those players and Dalembert.

Will the Cavs sign Dalembert so they can continue to pick over the Knicks scraps?

Shumpert is the real prize for Cleveland. My guess is they may just waive JR Smith.

Shumpert is a long able bodied guard, someone they could stick on Rose while LeBron guards Butler. I guess Thompson is guarding Gasol unless Cleveland gets another big somewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland somehow does pick up a center. GM LeBron is desperate to solve the matchup problems Chicago currently gives them so he can be assured the NBA Finals again this season.

Doesn't that mean Haywood and Love are the only non injured bigs? I guess at least cleveland got that 3/D player in Shumpert that they were looking for. Don't know if he's worth the price of taking on it smith though

I'm guessing Cleveland then signs Dalembert.
