This should be a shock to no one.....As I said before Shurmur is going to some place where he can call his own plays and be in charge of the offense.
Bears should have hired him earlier this week, they sat on their hands and made him an offer too late.
Typical Bears move
Talented young core? Yeah, not so much... He's going there because he can call his own plays.
Fangio being a defensive HC means Shurmur will have FULL CONTROL of the offense. Thats a lot more than just calling plays...Talented young core? Yeah, not so much... He's going there because he can call his own plays.
Thats the winning spirit.Just promote Ragone to OC and call it a season.
Flush this shitshow next year and start over.....
AGAIN
So Shurmur didn’t want to work with Trubisky/Nagy
As they have not hired an OC that is yet to be proven. But what has been proven is that becoming OC for a HC that refuses to give up playcalling despite being near the bottom of the league at that task is not a desirable landing spot.Even though we didn't get him, it proves those posters who said Nagy's ego was too big to hire an experienced OC were dead wrong...
Nah, he did not want the Bears job, he wanted a better opportunity. He was not going to call plays in Chicago, Trubisky is the current QB and it is a potential one year deal with Pace being on the hot seat.Bears should have hired him earlier this week, they sat on their hands and made him an offer too late.
