Outside of an injury to Mack or Hicks, the defense will be fine. They have a harder schedule this year so statistically it may not seem like it. It's easy to look good playing AFC East teams, even though we lost to the Dolphins.

Bears football in general. I find we spend way too much time talking about the Bears and no where near enough time talking about the Eagles...

I've included a gif to capture your reaction to my post:

So how many yards will Howard have this year?

Well i'm Ryan Pace of course ya dummy. Just look under my avatar and you would of known that but i guess paying attention wasn't a specialty of yours growing up. Don't give up though cause if you try really hard.......well no i think you're a lost cause by now so just stay dumb.

Most interesting.

Do you have any proof of this?

Bears were far and away the healthiest team in the NFL last season. Do you realllllllly wanna bank on that being the case again?

Although we were healthier than recent years we still lost key pieces for multiple games.

Starting Qb missed 2 games, Robinson missed games, Miller missed games and dealt with the shoulder all year, Mack may as well have missed 4 games...Floyd had a cast on his hand half the year.

Jackson missed the rest of the season along with Callahan. Long missed games.

Missing anyone? Burton and Shaheen I suppose..

We lost 4 games, and in two of them we didn’t have Mack healthy and in shape.

One was before Roquan was ready.

I will echo the common sentiment- we may not post a 12-4 record, but may very well be better.

Getting pretty tired of hearing about how Matt Lafleur is going to fall on his face. Not a single person here knows how he is going to call an offensive game as a HC, and he just so happens to have the most talented QB in the NFL on his team. Some of you wanted Lafleur to be the coach of the Bears, but now all of a sudden he sucks. Nah, the majority of you suck.

Just about 4 key guys you need to stay healthy in order to be among the best. There's a lot of talent on that side of the ball for the Bears.

I'm sick of hearing about the 'defense is going to be worse'. I appreciated Fangio and wish him success, but the possibility of the defense being better just keeps getting overlooked. Bum Phillips said years ago that there are only two ways to get better - get better players or get the players you've got to play better. There is room for the players they've got, to be better.

Funny, I have not heard this much at all since maybe a month or so after the hire and Fox's recent comments. Not sure what you listening to that this comes up so much. Maybe just turn the TV to something else.

f***ing hell remy, lol

Don't worry, moving shit this weekend so no vortex planned.

I am just so sick of Bears fans whining. One good season and all of a sudden everything that is not fawning over the Bears is met with cries. Hopefully we get used to this winning thing and people can stop crying about every little perceived slight.

I don't expect the injury luck to hold up, and with the tougher schedule, I could see the record take a hit and see some of those monster D stats drop off, I have no problem with that.

If The Dear Sweet One improves, the O could actually hold up their side and get there stats in the top 10, the Bears record could be just as good, dare I say it, better.

5 games. The last was with a healthy Mack and an improved Roquan but no Jackson and it hurt really bad.

Anyone who says they know the defense will be worse or better is just hoping to be right for a "called it". Nobody knows.

Under 850 total yards, but he'll have 10+ TDs. The Eagles use their RBs on a situational basis. IMHO he'll get under 5-15 touches a game and his role will be from running formations (first down, short yardage and goaline).

He'll be like Blount was 2 years ago that was sorely missed last year (especially when Ajayi went down).

So this year will be better because key players won't get hurt?

It's the NFL. Every team will deal with injuries. Some worse than others, but overall you have to assume some of your stars will miss time.
