Preseason Awards: NFL's most impressive rookies

2. Kyle Long and Jon Bostic, Chicago Bears right guard/middle linebacker

Long and fifth-round draft pick Jordan Mills have transformed the Bears' traditionally beleaguered offensive line, paving the way for Matt Forte's renaissance. One of the NFL's most athletic guards, Long might be Pro Bowl-caliber right out of the gate. If Bostic continues to lower the boom, he's going to be an upgrade on last year's version of Brian Urlacher.

Should we crown his ass already?

He even worked Mills in there too...but I guess including 3 Bears was too much.

This is the part that's kind of silly.

"Lowering the Boom" isn't going to turn Bostic into Brian Urlacher ... not even last year's version.

wow Lacy? I'm not saying the Bears are on top of the Pack but I do think I've seen some more impressive rookies

yeah, Eddie Lacy at #1 is a joke considering in the 3rd preseason game(you know the one that matters) Lacy had -5 yards on 8 carries. He's pure hype and name.

Can any of you imagine Long up on a pitchers mound chucking a baseball? Good god, lol.

Edit> Apparently this is what it looks like:

In terms of preseason, Kyle Long is definitely the most impressive rookie I've watched in a very, very long time.

I sure hope you're right. I'm going to hold my judgement until after the Bears play him. In the past the Bears have had problems with big bruising backs like that :-(.
