Well that Zeke signing was a bad signing by the Cowboys. Either way, I do not see Trubisky starting next season.
What makes you think Trubisky won't be the starter going into camp next year?

So you think Pace would have actually drafted players with those picks that are better than Mack?
Lol it's the same situation we had with JA. Maybe the value isn't there in the end for Cutty and Mack, but I'd take them both over giving either GM two more chances to fuck up a first round pick!

Spoken like someone who should fire their GM.

You have to factor in the 26 million in salary as well.

For your draft boards at home: #Raiders gave a conditional 5th to #Bears that became at 7th. Raiders have 7 picks: 2 in 1st round 3 in 3rd round 1 in 4th round 1 in 5th round

Bears

2
2
4 comp
5
6
6 Howard
7 Mack
7
Why?

at least the Bears were still able to get a pick out of it. Bears will probably acquire more picks in a trade down and also with a possible Trubisky trade in the offseason.

Hahaha you are standing strong on Trubisky not being the starter and maybe not even being a Bear at all next year. I'm down with it as long as however he's replaced is a win for the Bears. If we trade him or let him go and he goes and does a Tannehill on us then i don't wanna hear shit from you or anyone else on CCS...??

Yes but still not sure if we are getting a 5th or 6th rd pick for Howard. Most likely a 6th.

Full Draft order s- some later rd picks still need to move around.

It's gonna be a 6th and Philly made sure of that by holding him out so long with a stinger in his shoulder while J.Jacods was getting 20+ touches with a fracture in his shoulder.

I hope Pace trades down with both 2nd round picks.

Depends on who's sitting there at #43 and #50 but i'd be down with a not too far trade down to get an extra pick or picks if the white board is still strong with players at either of those picks.

Would have to be a hell of a prospect sitting there. Bears need not only immediate contributors but depth and cost controlled draft picks seem like the way to go. Especially since pace shines in the mid rounds.

Well, I have appointments available two weeks down the road. You clearly have poor eyesight.

I just don't see Nagy going down with Trubisky this year. Nagy is taking a lot of blame for the offense when Trubisky just could not run it (he did play better at the end of the season). Also, there are some clues/hints (Biggs / Jahns) from some of the beat writers not to read too much into Pace's end of year comments. Even if the Bears hold on to Trubisky, they are still going to bring in a vet QB to compete and it is not going to be someone to come in and be the backup. It will be one of the other starter vets that are out there. When that happens, it will be to start, not to backup. I could be wrong but we will just have to wait and see.

Look, I like Trubisky. It kind of sucks that he regresed so much because you can tell the kid really wants to do well. I just do not see him going through simple progressions, his ball is always wobbly and he does not have much arm strength. He does not recognize defense pre-read, which also makes the offensive line look bad. He misses easy throws, especially at the beginning of games, which stall the offense. He does not play with any confidence. You can't keep sticking with a QB like that and keep having your QB ruin the season.

I would be fine with Bears not having a first rnd pick throughout his entire playing career

Just out of curiosity.... does anyone know if there is a limit to picks that can be traded for a player?

EDIT: Looks like you can trade picks 4 years out.

Can't say i disagree with it but there's some guys that could slip that are high on their white board that they just can't pass up but if not then i'm good with trading down some for extra picks, wouldn't want to go any further down then late 2nd early 3rd round cause there's still day one type starters you can find in that area if you get lucky.

I'm pretty sure the NBA has a limit for the amount of picks you're allowed to trade for a player but don't know about the NFL.

I have 20/20 but that guy in your gif doesn't
I would give him a freebie if it would make him good enough to make the half of CCS shut up about Watson and Mahomes...
