Humidifiers are great. I went for an entire November and December without one in Edmonton and -40 C temps. Kept getting woken up by my breathing. My nose sounded like Mariah Carey caught in a bear trap.

I don't hate Christmas but it does get old fast. I'm 55 and to this day I still get caught off guard and have no idea what to say to people who wish me a merry Christmas (I'm a Jew). Do I say Merry Christmas to you too, or thanks, or I don't celebrate Christmas, or happy holidays, or nothing at all? I really don't know.
