Why this can't be correct. Something must be wrong.

Pace has a 15.6 percent pro bowl rate

The great Chris Ballard has a 6.9 rate.

They must have gotten them backwards

That 15.6% figure doesn't even include Roquan Smith yet. He was arguably Pro Bowl quality in 2018 and should see a Pro Bowl selection in the next couple of years.

Pace's biggest problem is 1st round picks. He tries to be the smartest guy in the room by making unexpected picks. His last 1st rounder though was Roquan who was considered a no-brainer pick. So maybe Pace has learned from his past mistakes Floyd, White, Trubisky.

white was hyped as fuck, who knows how good he could of been if he didn't get injured every year for the season. Trubisky was considered the best QB to many(mahomes was my #1) , Floyd was the only one you could certainly say fits that bill and was the best of the 3 anyways. if only he could of learned to rush the passer better....

White and Floyd were not “unexpected” picks. They were predicted to go that high and just didn’t pan out.

True that White, Floyd and Trubisky were touted as 1st rounders. But they all were major risks. Trubisky only had 1 year as a starter. White also had 1 breakout year. And Floyd was very athletic but small for the position. I don't think any of them would be considered no-brainer picks like a Quenton Nelson or Roquan Smith.

One of the highest pro bowl % of players drafted in the NFL (lovers)

Drafted Trubisky and White. (haters)

Every gm has busts.

The fact he drafted trubisky is the only serious issue anyone should have with him.

He's done perfectly fine in the draft and FA. I remember when this team would throw top dollar at FA's and they would choose other teams over us.

The irony here is that Trubisky counts toward the % of pro bowl players drafted.

Because trubisky in 2018 was a decent QB.

People act like it didn't happen because he was miserable in 2019.

Trubs in 18 had some of the best pocket presence in the league, threw well on the run, and used his legs very well. He still had the same accuracy issues but offset them by the fact he was more aggressive(3rd in deep attempts), so we still connected on a decent amount of explosive plays.

If we had 2018 trubisky last year, we more than def. make the playoffs and he gets to become the QB of the future for the next decade.

Instead we're stuck with two QB's who know how to be a good QB every other game.

Nelson went before we picked.

I am aware of that. I was just giving an example of a no-brainer pick.

I mean, to be fair, Kevin White was an elite WR prospect as well.

His only real negative was the fact it was a one year sample size, but the guy legit looked like the next Julio Jones coming up.

No remy yet? That's so odd that he hasn't posted in a thread that has anything to do with Pace being a good GM...Hahaha. And you know he's already been in here at least 4-5 times cause remy goes through every thread multiple times every single day.
