Dude brings it. He looks like Sam Mills out there. He's tiny. But his hustle, closing speed and POP are next level. He looked great tonight and playing behind monsters like Hicks, Mack, Goldman,, etc is exactly how he's going to shine.

Another reason to love this defense.

SC brought on a commentator regarding the Bears LB's and he brought up the Singletary/Marshall/Smith trio and said this LB core can be right there with them. They will be once they all get up to speed in this defense.

My hope, like every other Bears fan with eyes, simply hopes that DT can stay healthy.

I thought he played well. There were a few times where he was the one to close down a huge chunk of space. Mobile Qbs aren't as dangerous when you have a guy like him you trust to swarm ball handlers.

Love his instincts and closing speed. Going to be a tackling machine for years to come health willing.

He had the highest number of tackles on the team at 7. What a world of difference over Kwit. Although I still like Kwit as a backup.

I can't wait to see this defense in midseason form. If they're healthy and Floyd loses the cast, it will be fun to watch. Even the secondary has improved their play because of the front 7. Fuller needs to regain his swag from last year though.

Honestly didn't think he played that well.

He was getting pressure on the QB when asked, covered well, was a sure tackler and had some pop in his hits, he also did well in getting into the offensive backfield during scrambles and take away time for Wilson to look downfield.

I dunno I liked what i saw.

Agreed kyle fuller needs to play better but goddamn those 2 tds he has given up are like the world is against him in the end zone. i don't think he has an excuse for the td tonight if he just turned the fk around.... But you have to give credit where it's due everyone now knows you can get away with pushing off on kyle fuller and two any throw in the end zone on Kyle's man is going to be placed literally perfect so he cannot defend against it resulting in a TD.

^ good to see this on CCS. Those were 2 absolute 10 dime-passes that had to be, and were perfect. Fuller even had his arm in on both. If that's what it takes to beat him, I can live with it, and so should the rest of us. Not like it was broken coverage or like every QB is able of doing that consistently. Even the best can't and haven't. I am a bit concerned about the longer drives here & there, particularly in 2-min o vs. Bears at end of half and in 4th. Saw some good pressure a few times on prevent situations even.

Still glad to celebrate this first win & hope for continuous health & improvement. Hard to see AZ as a trap game, but TBD. Bear Down

I don't fault him for the long TD against GB because it was just a perfect pass by Rodgers, but tonight's TD he could have absolutely had a different result if he turned his head. It was only about a 25 yard pass to the back of the endzone, so he had no risk of getting burned by turning his head and locating the ball; it's just something that he's not good at. Yes, it was still a great throw by Wilson, but still something he could have defended better.

Agreed, I'd like to see him get his head around once they approach the endzone, but Kyle was draped on that dude. If he does that all season I'm guessing his luck changes drastically for the better.

He did well but was far from perfect.

He had the running back for no gain on short yardage situation and, not only did the running back get the first down, but Smith got thrown back three yards.

He left the middle of the endzone open on the final TD when he went to cover the RB, leaving an empty area for the TE to catch the TD.

People are acting like Fuller is getting burned in coverage lol. He's been in great position on basically every play and anything besides a dime from Wilson is deflected there. Yes, he could turn his head and play the ball but it was one play.
