Per Rotoworld:

ROBBIE GOULD K, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

49ers K Robbie Gould was absent from the first day of the offseason program.
Gould has remained steadfast in the fact he doesn't want to sign and play on San Francisco's designated one-year franchise tender. There's also indications he isn’t interested in signing a long-term deal with the team before the July 15 deadline. The Niners have reportedly considered rescinding Gould’s franchise tag, as evidenced by bringing in Pats K Stephen Gostkowski before he re-signed with New England. As it stands, 26-year-old backup kicker Jonathan Brown will handle those duties at the team's offseason program.

If the pull the tag as Robbie is angling for, he's not tendered.

I said this might happen.

Pretty sure a fan a few weeks ago ran into
robbie and robbie told him he hasn't signed anything yet. I fully expect good guy robbie to sign before camp starts, but if he holds out there is a chance that San Fran rescinds the tag.

Yeah baby! Good as Gould definitely sounds better than Gay Blewitt! Don't give in Robbie.

SF knows there are no decent kickers left to sign, so they will play chicken with Gould. In the end, he will report, even if at the deadline.

Yeah, he'll report Eventually imo. But who knows
I read an article earlier in the year where would said he has options (not sign the tag). But I just don't see him as a guy that drags it out. Idk

Go through all this drama, end up with Gould and by the end of the season have us saying "Wish we had Parkey." Now wouldn't that be some bullshit.

Just going to throw this out there.

If the #Bears find a way to get Robbie Gould back before the 2019 season opener, the prophecy will have been fulfilled. Meaning, they will win the Super Bowl.

That is all.

Nahhhh the prophecy would be fulfilled IF we get that incredible STS coach ... WhisHisName ? Taub ??? and Corderelle Patterson starts lookin like Hester on kickoffs behind Iggy's blocking, and our rookie RB draftee takes back punts like he was born gliding past blockers....then with an extra year under their built with Nagy, the O would be unstoppable, the D well we know how F***in good they are, and finally STs would be a bigtime Positivo

Good to know that you'll be wrong regardless. Parkey's double doink was as bad as it gets.

this is still just a negotiating bit....I'm sure he would not mind coming to Chicago but frankly he just wants a multi year deal.
