Had nothing to do with Smith, who they took over Rodgers.
So? Question was how much it hurt not having Rodgers. Not a QB compare.

Insert MT into Tannehils spot and and the Titans may be In the superbowl. That offense 100 percent plays to his strengths.

Tannehill was skipping passes into guys knees. Struggled to throw past 10 yards

Howard went from a yard churning beast, to falling down after he crossed the LOS Marion Barber style.

Exactly. Yesterday I kept thinking Tamnehill is the their weak link. Mitch would be the ideal QB for their offense. Take what he did last year when the Bears had a running game and defense and apply it to Tennessee. An elite running threat, consistently moving the launch point, and scrambles by Tannehills slow ass out of the play action. Just imagine Mitch there and that’s what trubisky vs Mahomes should look like.

Niners got to a SB in 2012 and only lost because Flacco had that unconscious game. 49ers had 100 more yards (468).

They had a top 10 d for 4 years running plus gore and boldin.
In all honesty smith probably could have won them a couple championships and rodgers might very well have taken 3 or 4 on that team.

Tannehill had an off day but he's had a lot of good ones this year. Can't all be like Mitch and never have a bad game like that with only 209 yards, 68% completions, 2TDs, no INTs and a 104 rating. OH WAIT!

No..he gave up 2 fumbles and 2 int's
Lost 1 fumble and last int just desperate attempt to get into game with time running out. I'd like to know the record for teams when giving up over 275 yards rushing. Can't imagine it would be very good at all. Another case of the QB getting too much credit for win/loss. Don't sell the Packers short as a team. They were overrated on got run over more often than road kill.

Comparing Jordan Howard and Derrick Henry is like going to Vegas and saying you’ve been to the Eiffel Tower

...if we would have kept Howard and implemented a power running game.

All the 'could have' posts is just loser thinking.

I'd add, if the Titans do nothing different next year and have the same roster going in, there's a good chance they regress. The NFL, and almost all team sports, are very competitive and there is no guaranteed formula for success. The same way you guys traded for Mack and made the playoffs there were a bunch of loser teams saying 'if we just traded for Mack...'.

I've got buddies that are Titans fans. Some have been rooting for a complete rebuild since year 2 of Mariota. There were many fans of the team that were rooting for the #1 overall pick. The playoffs and their playoff success was a complete surprise.

By the time Rodgers showed up and got his "stats," the game was over. He sucked. There is no way around it

Keeping Howard would have been the right move but it would not have made much difference. Problem was the playcalling and line play.
