White is the deep threat, and will have a good YPC because of it. If he plays the whole season, he will get ~45 catches for 800 yards.

Jeffrey is playing for a new contract, and is a proven commodity. If he plays the whole season, I would like to see ~90 catches for 1400 yards. He's also going to be our primary receiving threat in the redzone, so I am giving him 12 touchdowns.

If they both play a full 16 game season I'll say...

Jeffery - 95, 1300, 9
White - 60, 850, 6

Probably a little high for white, but meh. I think he'll be alright.

I picked up Jeffery in my league strictly because it's a contract year. (grabbed white with a late round flyer too... but he'll be riding the pine... and insurance.)

I'm hoping for;

Jeffery 89 catches, 1285yds 11 TDs

White 65 catches, 790yds 8 TDs, 5 rushes for 45yds

(I'm bring back the Trestman endaround to Jeffery but giving it to White!! holla!)

AJ - 70 - 80 catches 1,000 yards at least

KW - 50 - 60 catches 500 - 600 yards.

Got to factor the run game, Royal and Miller if they stay fit.

You think White has ~10YPC? Seems low for a deep threat.

I missed putting 600 yards in there. White is going to need targets to hit high levels of yardage.

I haven't seen one down year yet for Jeffery in this thread. If he has anything close to 100 catches and 1200 yards, Pace better pay that man.

If White breaks out too, I don't see the point in paying Jeffery 60mil when we are building a run first team. Let someone else pay him. WRs don't win SBs much less get you to playoffs. Spend that money on a good corner or safety.

I get what you are saying, but if you have a top receiver and the cap space, pay him. Jeffery is a difference maker on the field. That was evident last year even when he was playing injured. We could certainly use a good corner, but I don't think a corner or safety is more valuable then a borderline top 5 receiver.

Sometimes break out parties only last a year.

I agree with Hawk on this one. Pay the guy... and by the time White's contract is up you'll know whether or not it's time to keep Jeffery or move on from him, but in the mean time you'll have both. Maybe we should go with the Vikings approach and draft 3 first round CB's? Wow that is quite an investment to try to stop Rodgers... lol
