He could of had the Colts job and who knows what else had he waited past the early rush.

Or he could have missed out on Indy (he did not KNOW they would bungle the McD thing) and he took one of the many jobs he felt he could succeed at .... and then said that he came partly because of whatever QB his new team had.

What should happen is they should get the best QB available via FA or in the draft.

You do realize he chose to come to Chicago because he like Trubisky right?

He was saying what Pace wanted to hear to get the Bears gig. If Nagy was with Chicago in 2017 for the whole draft process & workouts. Nagy would not have selected Mitch first. KC felt he may be the guy left out of the top 3 once the selection came to them.

Also not saying that he didn’t like Mitch but I doubt in 2017 if he would select Mitch first.
