So that the fans can make noise and not let the other teams offense think straight....will it ever happen

what a shame. the falcons are palying in a half empty dome and the bears are still struggling with the noise

But Bears fans make noise while the Bears are on offense.

A new stadium is pretty ambitious. How bout getting some cheerleaders first?

why....they have been playing on the cheap for as long as they have been in Chicago......why not put plans out there to build their own stadium?

The Bears are effectively playing in one of the newer stadiums, considering the money that went into it a few years back. Considering Chicago's tradition of old stadiums (which is a good thing), don't count on a new one for at least 50 years.

We also have 19 more years of paying off the last renovation

But it is not their stadium.

Collaboration isn't really something to expect in Chicago. It's probably the best microcosm of the Federal govt. Despite the fact that it would benefit everyone involved it's political and unlikely until the contract runs out. Chicago knows the Bears want to stay on that spot, so they have little leverage. It's never cooperative.

That's because the home team has mics facing the crowd and when they are on defense they crank up the pa volume to make it loud because there are as many Bears fans as Falcons fans in there right now

What are you talking about? I haven't seen us struggle and I don't think a new stadium will happen in the next several decades

Can we create a "We Need a New Stadium" sub-forum?

How gratifying is it to see your team pumping the crowd up on the road? Atlanta pro fans are so casual, but they can build new stadiums like no others.

Are you aware they "rebuilt" Soldier Field a decade ago?

Do you really think a new stadium is coming anytime in the next 40 years?

Joe knows.... He's just doing his usual game day cunting. Some people tailgate on game day.... Joe likes to cunt apparently.

Yes, because of the capacity and dollars that are lost. I think it would have to be a city initiative, though.
