But Mitch was worth the #2, lmao. What QB in Stafford's draft class was better? I can name two that were better than Mitch.
Fuck. Sanchez was 4-2 in his career in the playoffs. Stafford may never play in 6 playoff games let alone a nfc championship game.

I dunno, Matt Stafford seems to have a pretty good record against the Bears.

come on man, when your down two scores in the 4th quarter with time running out, you take chances. He was down 45 to 28 with 3 effing minutes to go, What do you want your QB to do, throw the ball out of bounds? Yeah he took chances, he had to. Stop reading stat lines and learn what the hell your talking about. Btw, Detroit had a whooping total of 33 yards rushing that game. Kevin Smith was their starting RB

Both on sacks in which he had no hope, one came on 4th and three with 1 minute remaining, so it really didn't matter if he had fumbled or not. the other one of the fumbles, the cowboys actually fumbled the recovery themselves, and Detroit got the ball back on the same play, so there was no change of possession. Neither were his fault. Again, this is the shit you come up with when all you do is look at stat lines.Did you actually see the hit he took? Who was the Lions Rb that game? Joique Bell. Starting to see a pattern here?

Kinda like I am still laughing at the fact it was Golden Tate that scored the winning TD against you.

I have never seen Brady or Rodgers throw the game winning TD with a dislocated shoulder, have you?

Meanwhile Pussy jay Cutler is riding a bike on the sideline of a playoff game....lmao at Bears Qb's.

Except only morons think that. The ones that try to look at stat lines and access performance, with no clue on how the game unfolded. That would be you. Quarterbacks don't play defense.

so maybe we can have a Matt Prater vs Cody parker debate next.

doink......doink
Really.....your excuses for Stafford sound exactly like Bear fans defending Cutler 6 or 7 years ago. It's the OL, it's , the receivers, if we could only build talent around him. Those excuses sucked for Bears fans, just as they do now for Lion fans. But, but, Stafford had to throw the ball down two scores in the 4th quarter, man how many times was that used for Cutler.......Like other QB's have never been down two scores in the 4th and come back in the playoffs. Joe Flacco and Andrew Luck come to mind. It's the quarterbacks job to hold onto the damn ball and not fumble in the 4th quarter. Again Cutler type excuses.

This potato logic makes my brain hurt. Just because a draft class generated more or less talent at a position doesn't change the fact Stafford in no way shape or form turned out to be worth the #1 overall pick. Period. End of story. Its been what? 9 years since he was drafted? There isn't even remotely a mystery surrounding what Stafford is. Or in this case what he isn't.

Trubisky's career is just beginning. He hasn't shown any regression or plateau and two years later he sure as hell isn't a finished product. You're welcome to throw out a prediction or point out Mahomes has had more success in the same amount of time. Either are fine. Still doesn't change the fact your boy isn't worth his draft pick or his contract. Simple as that.
Your brain hurts because you don't use it that often, sorry for that. You want to talk about production since the nine years Stafford was drafted? Fine. You will lose that argument. The only meatball argument you have against Stafford is the Lions playoff record during that time frame. A time frame in which the lions never had a rushing attack in the top half of the league (highest was 17th, and average was well below 20th) nor did they ever have an elite defense. Mitch had both. and he still lost. He literally sucked Donkey balls until the last drive of the game.
Stafford threw a couple of picks late in the game when the Lions were down by two scores, and he was forced to take shots. Whoopity effing doo.
How does Stafford rate in total yards during this time frame?
How does he rate in total come from behind victories?
How does he rate in consecutive starts?
All this while defense's knew all they had to do was stop Stafford, because the Lions had no rushing attack, at all.
And then with the BS Calvin Johnson argument. Calvin was constantly double, even tripled covered. Stafford still threw him dimes, something Mitch will never be able to do on Staffords level.
The best your can hope for is MT becomes an Alex Smith game manager.

Wasn't Cutler the bears best QB to date? Cutler had a better rushing attack, and better defense's. Cutler was a puss.

The two best players in your franchise’s history walked away at 30 because the Detroit Lions always have been and always will be an embarrassment
This is a conversation about Stafford, but nice straw man. And as big as an embarrassment as they have been, it's the Bears that finshished last 4 times in a row, not the Lions.

It’s also the Lions that went 0-16, not the Bears

Your the one arguing for the 26th ranked QB in the NFL.
Passer rating and Rate+ > the opinion of a bunch of PFF mouth breathers like you. It’s also the same place that said Baker was the 8th best QB in the NFL last season
